"The Social Marketing Framework to Solve Problems workshop was very thorough and beneficial for students aged 10-11 years. The workshop focused on the importance of screen time reduction and strategies to improve children’s mental well-being. The training facilitator, Ms. Menna Kamel was very passionate about the topic and successfully introduced to students how to use the framework to solve problems. Ms. Menna created a positive learning environment during the workshop and catered to diverse types of learners.
The workshop provided students with several opportunities to voice their opinions, ask questions, reflect, and come up with their own solutions to solve this current issue that the whole world is suffering from. Additionally, it was a great opportunity for students to exhibit the attributes of the IB learner profile. A truly valuable workshop for students! "

"Our guest speaker, Ms. Menna Kamel, social marketer and behavior change consultant, and the founder of “Insan” has enriched our learning in this unit, by explaining the process of how resources become products and how to take care of natural resources. Students were given cards to take home reminding them to cut down on water and electricity usage. The visit sparked meaningful conversations amongst students about how to conserve water and electricity at school. We are very grateful to her and wish her success in her future endeavors which are aimed at creating positive change in Egypt by empowering children as agents of social change."

“Close the water mommy, every drop counts!”
My son shouted as I had the tap water running. I was impressed so I asked him, who taught you this? He replied, by telling me; “the guest speaker today, and she told us about the light bulbs and about the 4 P’s”.
He even kept holding the cards you gave him, between his hands until he slept, and as soon as he woke up he asked about where they should be kept to be in a safe place 😊.

"In simple terms, with marketing you market products and sevices,
as for social marketing; you market behaviors for social good."
